The Green Room
This is the large family room where women with up to five children are accommodated. This is where Rebecca and her three children are staying. They were evicted from their home because Rebecca was not able to pay her rent. Her money was going to support her speed habit. They had been in five different rental properties that year and the children in as many schools. She is booked in to enter a live-in rehabilitation centre in two weeks time. Her children will be going in to foster care. Rebecca was sexually abused by her uncle as a child and has commenced counselling.
