A Christian Response to Domestic Violence

Bishop John Harrower
Bishop Harrower is the 11th Bishop of the Anglican Church in Tasmania. With wife Gaelene and their two sons he lived in Argentina for nine years as a missionary with CMS. In 2000 he was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia ‘for service to the community through the Anglican Church and as a missionary’. John's leadership style is relational - seeking to build a missionary diocese engaging with society and seeking ‘all Tasmanians committed to Jesus Christ’. He is strongly committed to social well being and justice. This is evidenced by his work in a range of social issues.

Tim Dyer
Tim Dyer is the director of Southland, a Christian leadership training and retreat centre in Sheffield. After his studies in psychology at Melbourne University, Tim worked with homeless young people as a Scripture Union youth worker and then travelled and studied theology overseas. For the last 14 years, Tim has trained and equipped lay leaders and clergy in areas of conflict resolution, leadership formation and relationship skills. Tim's vision is to see healthy churches offering hope to a broken world. Tim is married to Merran, a GP with special interests in women's health and nutrition. They have four children.
